This is a reported list of residential fires in the Philippines for October, 2025. The Bureau of Fire Protection is on record saying the fire codes does not apply to residential areas which is why so many of them go up in flames during a fire. Being made of light materials all it takes is one spark to cause massive devastation.

Three members of family died while another was injured in a fire that gutted the victims’ property in Tarlac City on Tuesday.

Lloyd Paglingayen, his wife April Marie, 39, and their daughter Naarah Olivia, 7, died at the scene of the incident that occurred at past 3 a.m. in Barangay San Sebastian

Another member of the family, James Olive, 14, was rushed to the Tarlac Provincial Hospital for treatment of burns and other injuries.

Probers said James managed to escape from the blaze while his relatives were trapped in the house.

Arson probers have yet to determine the cause of the fire.

Some PHP9 million worth of properties were destroyed in a three-hour fire that hit Barangay Tetuan, this city, early Thursday.

Supt. Leo Pioquinto, Zamboanga City Fire District marshal, said the fire broke out in one of the affected houses along Estrada Street at about 12:31 a.m. 

“Fourteen houses were affected, of which 10 were totally damaged while the other four were partially destroyed,” Pioquinto said in his report. 

The fire, which reached second alarm, was completely extinguished around 3:21 a.m. 

Pioquinto said authorities have yet to ascertain the cause of the fire.

The City Social Welfare and Development Office (CSWDO) reported that 23 families, or 78 individuals, were affected by the incident. CSWDO Chief Socorro Rojas said the displaced families are temporarily sheltered at the gymnasium of Tetuan Central School. 

Mayor Khymer Olaso has directed Rojas and the Tetuan Barangay Council to ensure assistance and support for the fire-hit families.

The incident was the second fire this week in Barangay Tetuan; the first, on Monday, damaged approximately PHP600,000 worth of properties.

Victoria works as a janitor at the Northern Mindanao Medical Center, a kilometer away, making their current location practical for her job.

Likewise, her nieces and nephews attend school in Barangay Consolacion, just a seven-minute walk from their home.

Up to 100 families were left homeless after a fire broke out at a neighborhood in Malate in Manila on Friday.

The blaze started from a two-story house along Leveriza Street in Barangay 705 at 9:24 p.m., according to a report from the Manila Police District.

A late afternoon fire that broke out in Barangay Duljo Fatima, Cebu City, on Saturday, October 11, gutted a residential structure and caused around P480,000 worth of damage, authorities reported.

A pet Corgi and 2 pet mixed breed dogs died in 2 separate fires in Cebu City this morning, October 15, which also happened in a span of nearly three hours.

The owner of the dogs, a certain Dave, told a reporter of dyHP in an interview that his pets were a mixed breed — one was a mixed Labrador called Rushie while the other was a Bulldog-Aspin mixed breed who was named Thunder.

The dogs unfortunately went back to the burning house and hid under a furniture inside the house.

A neighbor, whose home was just across the house where the fire started, told a dyHP reporter that there was a loud explosion before the fire.

She claimed that she believed that this might have been an air conditioning unit overheating.

A few hours later or nearly three hours later at 9:30 a.m., another fire was reported at  Sitio Nalsubi, Barangay Labangon, Cebu City.

The Cebu City firefighters were at the fire scene at 9:35 a.m. 

The CCFO in a report said that the fire was placed under control at 9:49 a.m. and was declared fire out at 9:54 a.m.

The report said that 3 houses were razed while 3 others were gutted by the fire.

Aside from that, 20 individuals were also displaced by the blaze.

Fire investigators estimated the damage to property at P375,000.00.

Aside from the razed houses and displaced individuals, the fire also killed a one-year-old pet Welsh Corgi.

According to the teen owner of the dog, her pet canine was trapped on the second floor of the house as the fire raged.

She said that she could not save her pet as the fire was already too big.

Fire investigators continue to investigate the cause of the Labangon fire.

Three children died after a fire broke out in a residential area in Barangay Sto. Domingo, Quezon City on Tuesday.

The victims, aged 10, seven, and five years old, were siblings, according to Isa Avendaño-Umali’s report on Super Radyo dzBB.

Janine Miñoza, the children’s mother, said she was at the hospital arranging her mother’s medical examination when the fire broke out.

The Quezon City Fire District said the victims, two of whom are male, were found on the second floor of their house. 

They added that the cause of death could be suffocation, but a source said the bodies were charred. 

The children’s bodies were brought to the funeral home past 2 p.m.

The fire, which reached third alarm, also affected a three-storey house and affected 33 families.

Authorities are still investigating the cause of the incident.

Barangay personnel, meanwhile, said they will provide assistance to Miñoza’s family.

A 10-year-old girl died and a civilian was injured in a fire that broke out in residential area in Pasay City, Friday night, Oct. 17.

The injured, Michael,44, sustained a laceration on the left shoulder.

A total of 52 fire trucks responded and extinguished the blaze at 12:22 a.m. on Saturday.
The BFP said the damage cost was placed at P450,000. 
The Pasay City Social Welfare and Development reported that the fire was caused by faulty electrical wiring. 
Pasay City Mayor Emi Calixto-Rubiano said the victims were brought to the Juan Sumulong Elementary School.

Local officials said the city government will help facilitate the burial of the three victims.

A fire gutted 1,000 houses and displaced nearly 2,000 people in Barangay Catmon, Malabon on Wednesday, according to the Bureau of Fire Protection.

A 50-year-old man died in a fire that broke out in a residential area in Marikina City before dawn on Saturday, according to a report by Carlo Mateo on Dobol B TV.

The fire started at 2:03 a.m. in a compound on Road 3 in Barangay Tañong.

To be honest there is not a lot in this article to comment upon and any accompanying video will likely be AI slop devoid of differing content. Nevertheless, there are a few thing in this article that contradict Tim's whole scenario of a bodiless resurrection.

When Satan is cast into the Lake of Fire in Revelation 20:10, many readers assume the following vision of the Great White Throne (v. 11–15) takes place 1,000 years later as a second and separate event. 

But the text does not declare a new judgment. Rather, John shifts the prophetic angle — returning to the Day of Judgment already initiated by the First Resurrection and finalized at the Second Death. 

This is not a sequel — it is a rewind. 

Tim says many readers assume the vision of the White Throne judgement takes place 1,000 years after Satan is cast into the lake of fire. How about some proof of that? How about a quote from a commentary? Who exactly says the Great White Throne judgment takes place 1,000 years after Satan is cast into the lake of fire? Knowing who teaches that doctrine and why they teach it would help in understanding what Tim is combating. It's ludicrous that he always mentions scholars and their teaching but never gets into the nitty gritty details.  He never brings receipts. 

📜 1 Revelation Is Cyclical, Not Strictly Linear 

Revelation is not structured like a modern history timeline. It is composed of visions introduced with phrases like “And I saw…” which often mark a shift in perspective rather than a new event in time. Examples: 

  • Revelation 14 cycles back to describe the harvest from a heavenly angle. 

  • Revelation 19 replays Yahusha’s return from a different vantage. 

So when John says, “And I saw a great white throne…” (Rev. 20:11), he is shifting into another camera angle of the same ultimate moment — not advancing 1,000 years beyond it. He is returning to the context of the Day of Judgment. He only advanced to define Satan's end. 

This is true. Revelation is not a linear book. It's also not literal. It is symbolic. Now let's get to the real meat and potatoes; Tim does not understand the meaning of the first resurrection.

📘 4 The Book of Life Opens Once — Not Twice 

Revelation 20:12: 

“…and the books were opened… and another book was opened, which is the book of life…” 

This aligns with Daniel 7:10 — one courtroom moment. 

If this were a new era, there would need to be: 

❌ A second resurrection
❌ A second book opening
❌ A second second-death 

Scripture declares none of these. 

Once the Book is opened by Yahusha, the eternal verdict is final. That occurs in all of scripture on the Day of Judgment at the end of the Great Tribulation. It cannot replay 1,000 years later. 

Tim says there is no second resurrection but if that is the case then there is no FIRST resurrection.

Revelation 20:4 And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.

5 But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection.

6 Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years.

If there is only one resurrection why is it called THE FIRST RESURRECTION? It's like calling The Great War World War 1 before 1945. It's like calling Pulp Fiction part 1. It makes no sense because there is no sequel. Tim does not explain this at all. His theology is not only bad, it's lazy.

As has been shown previously Tim is operating in a premillennial framework. That means Tim teaches Jesus literally reigns for 1,000 years with the resurrected saints before the last judgement. However, there is no bodily resurrection. The saints are given brand new heavenly bodies which, as has been noted, is a denial of the resurrection.

According to Tim the wicked are not resurrected but are instead immediately annihilated. But his own words contradict him.

🌊 5 “The Sea Gave Up the Dead” — Echoes Yahusha’s Own Words 

Revelation 20:13: 

“And the sea gave up the dead… and death and hell delivered up the dead…” 

Yahusha already described this exact resurrection event: 

“All that are in the graves shall hear His voice, and shall come forth…” — John 5:28–29 

This is not post-1,000 years — it is the same resurrection moment already initiated by the First Resurrection and completed at judgment. In modern scholarship, this is the worst of conflation.

This is wrong. This is NOT the first resurrection. That already happened in verses 4-6. There are two ways to view the first resurrection. One is that the saints have been bodily resurrected and are reigning with Christ for 1,000 years. The other is the first resurrection is the calling to newness of life by the Father. 

John 5:24 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.

25 Verily, verily, I say unto you, The hour is coming, and now is, when the dead shall hear the voice of the Son of God: and they that hear shall live.

26 For as the Father hath life in himself; so hath he given to the Son to have life in himself;

27 And hath given him authority to execute judgment also, because he is the Son of man.

28 Marvel not at this: for the hour is coming, in the which all that are in the graves shall hear his voice,

29 And shall come forth; they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life; and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation.

There are two distinct resurrections in this passage. The first resurrection is passing "from death unto life" when a man believes on Jesus Christ and the second is the general judgment at the end of the world. There are many passages describing salvation as becoming alive. 

2 Corinthians 5:17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

Ephesians 2:1 And you hath he quickened, who were dead in trespasses and sins;

Romans 6:3 Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death?

4 Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.

5 For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection:

6 Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin.

7 For he that is dead is freed from sin.

8 Now if we be dead with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with him:

9 Knowing that Christ being raised from the dead dieth no more; death hath no more dominion over him.

So, if the first resurrection is viewed as passing from death unto life in Christ Jesus there is no problem with calling the general resurrection of all men to judgment a second resurrection. 

Now, how is it those in the graves will hear his voice and come forth to judgement if there is no bodily resurrection? How will the sea give up its dead if there is no bodily resurrection? It makes no sense and Tim does not bother to explain. 

Whether or not there are more parts to this series remains to be seen. What can be said for now is that Tim has dug himself a hole from which there is no escape. His doctrine is a denial of the resurrection which scripture teaches in no uncertain words. It's simply more bad doctrine and deception from Timothy Jay Schwab who is The God Culture.
