The God Culture: AI "Music" is Actually A Vessel of Light Through the Holy Spirit

Timothy Jay Schwab who is The God Culture is now also Foundations Echo Collective. On November 19th, 2025 he released his first full length album under this name titled "The Awakening, vol. 1."

Let's take a look at Tim's new mission statement for this project.

Foundations Echo Collective is a global worship collective and creative studio dedicated to restoring authentic, Scripture-rooted worship to a new generation. We write, produce, and release original music that bridges ancient faith and modern sound, carrying the heartbeat of revival from the Philippines to the nations. Our mission is simple but world-changing: to call believers everywhere back to the foundations of truth—worshiping the Creator in spirit and in truth, living lives of holiness, and awakening purpose through the power of song.

Born out of The God Culture research and teaching platform, Foundations Echo Collective began as a small worship initiative designed to give voice to the global awakening rising from the Isles of the East. What started with a few original songs quickly became a movement of faith, unity, and restoration. Today, with curated AI assistance, we compose across genres—from epic cinematic themes orchestral anthems, and rap worship to modern congregational worship, acoustic devotionals, and island-inspired praise. Each song is crafted to draw listeners back to the heart of Yahuah and the example of Yahusha—reminding the world that worship is not entertainment; it is covenant. Our intent is to begin receiving submissions from the public as well soon...

https://foundationsrising.org/about-us/

Here we see that Foundations Echo Collective is indeed The God Culture under another name. We also see that while Tim claims he is restoring authentic worship he is actually using AI to compose these songs.

The sound of Foundations Music is diverse yet unmistakable. It blends the depth of Hebrew roots with the passion of Filipino soul and the excellence of modern production. Listeners will hear ancient sounds and native rhythms fused with pop, rap, orchestral, and contemporary worship elements—creating a sound that feels both timeless and new. Whether through the soaring anthem “I Will Rise – Anthem of the Philippines”, the meditative “Alleluia (My Yahuah)”, the restored and modernized hymn “A Mighty Fortress (Yahuah Reigns)", or the cinematic journey “Isles of Ophir,” our songs invite worshipers to experience Scripture as living reality.

Foundations Music functions as an independent, faith-based creative studio powered by prayer, collaboration, and technology. Using tools such as Songer AI, Runway, and Klangio, we accelerate songwriting and production while maintaining human authenticity and spiritual discernment. This allows us to release new, high-quality worship content monthly without dependency on major labels or touring schedules. Instead of chasing fame, we pursue impact—empowering local churches to lead their own worship renewal.

Unlike many contemporary worship labels, Foundations Music is not driven by celebrity or market trends. We return worship to its original purity—where lyrics are theologically precise, melodies are inspired, and every song glorifies the Creator rather than the artist. We believe that excellence and authenticity belong together. Our production values rival mainstream standards, yet our focus remains entirely spiritual.

Human authenticity and AI DO NOT go together. Worship is inherently human. There is absolutely nothing spiritual about computers mimicking humans singing and playing instruments. It's not even like MIDI or click tracks or using loops created by a DJ. Programed AI music is100% devoid of soul and spirit and any authenticity. It's literally an algorithm created by inputs. It is "worship music" ghost written by a neural network and branded as revival.

Imagine if I asked my guitar:

Hey, Martin! Write me a song in the key of G that's all about loving God.

That wouldn't be my song.

Here is how Tim justifies his use of AI in creating music.

❓ Isn’t using AI or digital voices in worship somehow wrong?

Not at all. Worship isn’t bound by instruments or code.

The same Spirit that moved through David’s harp moves through today’s tools because of the creator behind it.

Wherever Yahuah’s Name is lifted, His presence flows—yes, even through the wires.

Because... "There is no fear in love, but perfect love casts out fear".            – 1 John 4:18

Perfect love doesn’t fear new tools — it redeems them.

Where the Ruah Ha’Hodesh leads, even technology becomes a vessel of light. Just as a car can be intended for bad, the same can be used in ministry.

https://foundationsrising.org

Technology can become a vessel of light through the Holy Spirit? Now Tim sounds like a technocratic transhumanist, the very same people he has condemned for creating AI and foisting it upon the public.

Who Were The Nephilim? Answers In Jubilees: Part 14

Tim writes:

We also revive forgotten hymns and public-domain treasures, adding fresh arrangements and choruses that restore their power for modern congregations. Songs like “A Mighty Fortress (Yahuah Reigns)”and “Praise You in the Dance” transform traditional compositions into vibrant new worship experiences while maintaining doctrinal accuracy and historical integrity.

I wonder which of those songs is the forgotten hymn and which is the public-domain treasure. "A Mighty Fortress" is by no means a forgotten hymn and is sung in churches regularly. I've sung it myself in Church. "Praise you in the Dance" is a Casting Crowns song which is still copyrighted which means for Tim to transform it he will likely need their permission just like Weird Al gets permission before he transforms songs. "A Mighty Fortress" is the third track on his first album. The song credit section is very interesting.

There is no credit to Martin Luther who wrote the lyrics! Tim has "transformed" this hymn by adding the words Yahuah and Yahusha and by adding a section about not profaning the name of Yahuah. This, of course, is all done in service to restoring the so-called names of the Father and Son respectively. That certainly transforms the message of Martin Luther who was an Orthodox Trinitarian. Tim is on record denying the Holy Spirit is God, claiming he is likely a creature, and insisting that the Trinity is a made-up doctrine of men. You can read about the name of YHWH here and the Holy Spirit being a creature here

So, why is Tim using Luther's most famous hymn? No doubt because Tim believes himself to be a modern day Luther restoring lost ancient truths. He's not. He's a heretic introducing novel doctrines and with this soulless AI "music" he is introducing strange fire into worship.

I am not going to review every song on this album. You can listen to it on Spotify. It's soulless garbage that sounds like every other Dove Award winning CCM song, all of which are awful. My most hated? The one with the lyrics "will I dance for you Jesus." That song is so devoid of correct theology I can only imagine why it won the Dove Award for Song of the Year. Have these people never read Isaiah 6? Listen at your own peril. I will note that there is a strange lyric in track one, I Give It To You (Pop Worship Edition).

I think on these things as I rest in your support

Why wouldn't Tim write, if he did write the lyrics at least, "as I rest in your arms" or, more strongly, "as I rest in your grace?" Of course Tim does not believe in perseverance of the saints. He teaches one can lose their salvation so either one of those three lyrics are useless to Tim's doctrine that we ultimately save ourselves by keeping the law, or as he says, "The law is what redeems us."

Oddly enough Tim is inviting real musicians to contribute songs to his project.

We invite every listener, musician, and worshiper to be part of this story. Whether you serve on a worship team, lead a church, or simply love music that carries the presence of Yahuah, Foundations Music exists for you. Download the songs. Share them. Sing them. Record them. If you are a songwriter, submit your songs to be included in our offerings. We will vet each song and add those appropriate. Let the Isles rise and the nations rejoice.

If a songwriter submits a song how will it be included? Will Tim process it through AI? Will the songwriter receive a credit? If Tim is going to use AI why even bother asking lowly humans to submit anything when he has a machine that is more human than human? Furthermore one has to wonder how much of Tim's upcoming book "Restore The Name: The Covenant Voice Returns" was written by a machine? In the end, the use of AI to promote his godless, Christless, heretical theology is a perfect fit for Timothy Jay Schwab who is The God Culture and now Foundations Echo Collective.

A Terrible Accident

It's another accident! These things happen quite often in the Philippines. Here is the scene.

A motorcycle ran into an extended load a truck was carrying. It looks brutal what with the motorcycle upside down. Thankfully the rider was wearing his helmet and only suffered cuts to his hand.

Amazing! It's a miracle. No doubt he would have been seriously hurt if he had not been wearing his helmet. He was even sitting next to the driver of the truck as if everything was ok.

I told him those kinds of loads should not be allowed on the street as they are very dangerous. You know what he said?

He said we have ways of doing things in the Philippines and shit happens!

That is certainly one way to look at it.

Insurgency: Communist Funds

In the Eastern Visayas the news installed Army brigade commander has vowed to sustain the momentum of the anti-insurgency gains.

https://www.pna.gov.ph/articles/1263123

The newly installed commander of the Philippine Army’s 802nd Infantry Brigade based in Ormoc City has vowed to sustain the momentum of his predecessors in the government’s fight against insurgency in Eastern Visayas.

Brig. Gen. Pompeyo Jason Almagro formally assumed command of the brigade on Wednesday, succeeding Col. Rico Amaro, who served as acting commander for more than a month following the retirement of Brig. Gen. Noel Vestuir from military service.

“We will continue what the previous brigade commander has started, as instructed by our division commander,” Almagro said in a media interview after the ceremony.

Among the key initiatives he pledged to sustain is Project Ultimatum, an initiative designed to completely eradicate insurgency in the region by encouraging remaining rebels to surrender.

Under the project, groups of rebels who surrender collectively — particularly those coming from the same province — will receive cash assistance sourced from their respective local government units.

“Fortunately, we have already reduced the number of remaining rebels in Leyte to a significant degree. However, we will continue to carry out our mandate to defeat the remaining insurgent elements operating in Leyte and the southern part of Samar Island,” Almagro said.

Before his new assignment, Almagro served with the 1st Infantry Division in Southern Mindanao — the first military unit to successfully dismantle all fronts of the New People’s Army.

He expressed optimism that his experience in Mindanao would contribute to the Army’s ongoing efforts to finally put an end to the insurgency in Eastern Visayas.

The 802nd Infantry Brigade has operational jurisdiction over Leyte and Biliran Islands, as well as selected towns in the southern parts of Eastern Samar and Samar provinces.

What is "Project Ultimatum?" There hasn't been anything about that until now. Google searches refer to this article. That means it is either brand new or very top secret. This article tells us it's all about the money. When rebels surrender collectively they will win a big cash prize.

The NTF-ELCAC is appealing a court ruling against the forfeiture of communist funds.

https://www.manilatimes.net/2025/11/14/news/national/ntf-elcac-appeals-court-ruling-on-forfeiture-of-communist-funds/2223327/amp

THE National Task Force to End Local Communist Armed Conflict (NTF-Elcac) has urged the Court of Appeals (CA) to reconsider its ruling that voided the forfeiture of P557, 360 seized from arrested journalists Frenchie Mae Cumpio and Mariel Domequil.

It asserted that the money was used to finance operations of the Communist Party of the Philippines–New People’s Army (CPP–NPA).

Cumpio and Domequil were arrested in a police raid in Tacloban City on Feb. 7, 2020, over alleged illegal possession of firearms and for allegedly being members of the NPA.

During the implementation of the search warrant, authorities seized a cash box containing P557,360.

Following this, the Philippine National Police-Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG) requested that the amount be forfeited in favor of the government.

Legal remedies were discussed in a recent inter-agency meeting chaired by Justice Angelita Miranda, the Office of the Solicitor General (OSG), Anti-Money Laundering Council (AMLC), National Intelligence Coordinating Agency (NICA), Intelligence Service of the Armed Forces of the Philippines (ISAFP), and the Department of Justice–National Prosecution Service (DOJ–NPS).

The OSG committed to file a motion for reconsideration before the appellate court, to be supported by additional intelligence and legal materials to strengthen the government’s position.

The AMLC earlier secured a favorable decision from the Manila Regional Trial Court (RTC), which ordered the forfeiture of the seized funds after evaluating intelligence reports, financial analyses, and sworn statements linking the money to the fact that the CPP–NPA is a designated terrorist organization under Republic Act 10168 or the Terrorism Financing Prevention and Suppression Act of 2012.

According to the Task Force and AMLC, RA 10168 penalizes anyone who provides or collects funds intended to support terrorist activities, regardless of whether the person is formally affiliated with a terrorist group.

Authorities said that the 2020 police operation which led to the seizure of the funds also resulted in the confiscation of firearms, explosives, and subversive materials. Four criminal cases for illegal possession of firearms and one for terrorism financing are pending before the RTC in Tacloban City.

Officials said these findings support the claim that the money was used to fund operations of communist terrorist groups, as defined under RA 10168 and the Anti-Terrorism Act of 2020 (RA 11479).

The NTF-Elcac also expressed concern over reports that foreign consuls have frequently visited Cumpio and Domequil, warning that such actions — though within diplomatic prerogative — could potentially influence public opinion or ongoing judicial proceedings related to national security.

The Task Force reiterated that while it recognizes press freedom and human rights advocacy, these should not be used to shield or justify acts of terrorism financing.

Perhaps the OSG should have provided this additional intelligence in their initial filing. Why not show all the evidence? This article does not explain why the court voided the forfeiture.

One commenter thinks there should be a nationwide ceasefire.

https://mindanews.com/mindaviews/2025/11/peacetalk-declared-state-of-national-calamity-how-about-declaring-a-nationwide-ceasefire/

President Marcos declared last November 6 a state of national calamity following the deadly Typhoon “Tino” in the Visayas and anticipating Supertyphoon “Uwan” in Luzon but with a practically nationwide range. Warranted indeed. But how about also declaring a unilateral nationwide ceasefire for calamity-related humanitarian purposes in relation to the local communist armed conflict?

Ideally, it best be a declaration by both sides involving the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) and the New People’s Army (NPA). Even if done only unilaterally by each of the two sides, it would practically amount to a bilateral ceasefire. Also ideally, since we are in the third “ber” month already of November, might as well extend it to the fourth and last “ber” month of December to include the traditional ceasefire occasion of the Christmas to New Year holidays break.

Such a calamity-related humanitarian ceasefire extended to the Christmas to New Year holidays break would allow both the AFP and the NPA to devote more attention to their respective disaster risk reduction and management services instead of their respective military offensives, whether tactical or strategic. This would give some welcome respite from the armed conflict not only for the mostly rural communities in the crossfire of that conflict but also the soldiers and Red fighters themselves. They can put that respite to good use like, among others, disaster rescue, relief and rehabilitation assistance.

The challenge to declare a unilateral nationwide ceasefire for calamity-related humanitarian purposes is thus hereby addressed to both sides. The natural and man-made calamities-buffeted people await and will judge your response to this challenge. Better if both sides respond positively. In which case, it could or should be the stepping stone for something more than just disaster relief and fighting respite.

Such a ceasefire may as well also be the “specific measure of goodwill and confidence-building to create a favorable climate” for the political leaderships and negotiators of both sides to — no longer unilaterally but it has to be bilaterally — revisit their supposed breakthrough Oslo Joint Statement of November 23, 2023 on the occasion of its coming second anniversary. Remember its very first paragraph:

“Cognizant of the serious socioeconomic and environmental issues, and the foreign security threats facing the country, the parties recognize the need to unite as a nation in order to urgently address these challenges and resolve the reasons for the armed conflict.”

Perhaps restart or reboot peace talks by “urgently addressing” first “the serious socioeconomic and environmental issues” highlighted by the recent natural calamities and the flood control and other infrastructure projects corruption scandal. If the Government of the Republic of the Philippines (GRP) and the National Democratic Front of the Philippines (NDFP) cannot yet somehow agree on the roots of “the serious socioeconomic and environmental issues,” they might agree at least on concrete effective measures “to urgently address these challenges” even in the short to medium term.

Again, even if the parties do not yet agree on “the roots of the armed conflict,” their sincere and serious discussions “to urgently address… the serious socioeconomic and environmental issues” could and should consciously contribute “to come up with a framework that sets the priorities for the peace negotiation with the aim of achieving the relevant socioeconomic and political reforms towards a just and lasting peace” — as envisioned in the third paragraph of their Oslo Joint Statement.

This of course all depends IF the parties are sincere and serious about the peace negotiations for “Resolving the roots of the armed conflict and ending the armed struggle shall pave the way for the transformation of the CPP-NPA-NDFP” per the second paragraph of their Oslo Joint Statement. On the occasion of its coming second anniversary within this month of November 2025, that sincerity about the whole process of peace negotiations itself is perhaps what the parties should more fundamentally revisit.

A ceasefire will likely not happen. The AFP is focused on wiping out the NPA whether through bullets or cash.

In Zamboanaga City a combination of 86 ASG and NPA supporters have surrendered,

https://www.pna.gov.ph/articles/1263299

A total of 64 former Abu Sayyaf Group (ASG) supporters and 22 New People’s Army (NPA) supporters voluntarily surrendered in Zamboanga City, the Philippine National Police (PNP) said Friday.

The group surrendered at the Regional Mobile Force Battalion - Zamboanga Peninsula (RMFB 9) Battalion Headquarters at Camp Col. Romeo A. Abendan, Zamboanga City and turned over 19 rifles of various calibers, eight .38 revolvers, three shotguns, one Uzi, one .22 pistol, and three explosives.

They later took their oath of allegiance and were subjected to interviews and documentation. All firearms were properly accounted for and secured by RMFB 9.

The surrenderers are currently under the custody of the RMFB 9 for further processing and assistance by government agencies.

Jointly facilitating the surrender were the RMFB 9, Isabela CPS, Zamboanga City Police Office, Zamboanga del Sur Provincial Police Office, Zamboanga Sibugay PPO, Zamboanga del Norte PPO, Sulu PPO, the Maritime Group 9, and the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao police.

Meanwhile, the PNP also on Friday said a total of P107 million worth of confiscated smuggled cigarettes have been confiscated in two operations in Sta. Cruz Island in Zamboanga City.

In a statement, the PNP said the latest update builds on Thursday’s report, which first detailed the arrest of seven adult male crew members and the seizure of PHP21 million worth of cigarettes from the Jungkung vessel M/B Sophia Jayy.

The progress report said a follow-up inventory, carried out at 8 a.m. of the same date, uncovered a much larger shipment on the Jungkung M/B Zhyryne. The vessel was found carrying 800 master cases of Soda Red and 382 master cases of Soda Menthol, amounting to PHP86,240,000.00.

The PNP said that brings the total volume from both vessels to 1,532 master cases.

The operation was executed through the coordinated efforts of the police authorities in Zamboanga City during a seaborne patrol in the waters near Sta. Cruz Island on Nov. 12.

It's not clear how many are mere supporters versus actual members.

No More Hell Run By Filipinos 15: Corrupt Politicians Praising The Most Corrupt Politician

Juan Ponce Enrile has finally died at the ripe old age of 101.  The man has long been an enduring symbol of corrupt Philippine politics having been implicated, though never convicted, in various scandals. He is also most infamous for being a friend of Marcos Sr and the architect of marital law. It's not surprising then that his colleagues have heaped a ton of praise upon the man. Here is but one sample of many.

https://www.pna.gov.ph/articles/1263254

President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. on Thursday paid tribute to Chief Presidential Legal Counsel Juan Ponce Enrile, calling him “one of the most enduring and respected public servants” in Philippine history.

In a statement shared on social media, Marcos said Enrile’s decades-long service to the nation — which spanned law, governance, and public policy — left an indelible mark on the country’s political and legal landscape.

“We say goodbye to one of the most enduring and respected public servants our country has ever known. For over 50 years, Juan Ponce Enrile dedicated his life to serving the Filipino people, helping guide the country through some of its most challenging and defining moments,” Marcos said.

The President issued the statement moments after Enrile's passing was made public by his daughter, Katrina Ponce Enrile.

Marcos also described Enrile as a brilliant legal mind who remained “sharp and steadfast” in his belief that law and governance must always serve the Filipino people.

“Even in his final years, he remained brilliant, sharp, and firm in his belief that law and governance must always serve the Filipino people,” he said.

Marcos said Enrile’s death marked the end of an era but emphasized that his influence would continue to shape the nation’s institutions and public service.

“His passing marks the close of a chapter in our nation’s history. But the mark he leaves behind in law, in governance, and in the hearts of those he served will never be forgotten,” he said.

The President ended his message with a personal note, thanking the late statesman for his lifelong dedication to the country.

“Thank you very much, Tito Johnny. Farewell, and thank you for a life wholeheartedly dedicated to the nation,” he said.

Enrile, who passed away at 101, served as Senate President, Defense Minister, and more recently as Chief Presidential Legal Counsel under the Marcos administration.

His storied career spanned both the Marcos Sr. and post-EDSA People Power governments, making him one of the country’s most influential political figures for over half a century.

Note that President Marcos is speaking in broad terms offering no specifics. What policies did Enrile help enact during his career? Under Marcos Sr. he assisted in upholding martial law which resulted in the deaths of thousands of Filipinos. During Duterte's reign Enrile made excuses for his drug war which resulted in the deaths of thousands. Though never convicted for plunder or corruption he was charged with those crimes. Just because he was not convicted does not mean he wasn't guilty. The corruption in the judicial process is well attested.

Here is how the world is remembering him.

https://www.france24.com/en/live-news/20251113-juan-ponce-enrile-architect-of-philippine-martial-law-dies-at-101-daughter

Enrile, who was being treated for pneumonia, died at home at 4:21 pm (0821 GMT) "surrounded by our family", Katrina Ponce Enrile said on her Facebook page, adding there would be a public viewing.

Known as the architect of the brutal martial law used to crush opposition to Marcos's rule, Harvard-educated Enrile was a long-time top adviser to the authoritarian leader.

Enrile later turned on Marcos and was instrumental in sparking the popular 1986 uprising that led to the president's ouster less than three years after the murder of opposition leader Benigno Aquino.

Enrile switched sides again and helped the Marcos family in their remarkable political comeback after they returned from exile.

After Ferdinand Marcos Jr, the late dictator's son, won the 2022 presidential election, he named Enrile his chief legal counsel.

"We say goodbye to one of the most enduring and respected public servants our country has ever known," Marcos said in a statement, adding Enrile "dedicated his life to serving the Filipino people, helping guide the country through some of its most challenging and defining moments".

Bonifacio Ilagan, head of a group of former dissidents thrown into prison during martial rule, said in a statement the group has "no tears to shed" for a man who "will forever be remembered neither as a patriot nor a statesman, but as one of the chief architects and defenders of tyranny, repression, and corruption in the country".

Enrile never spent a day behind bars for his role in the Marcos dictatorship.

'A good beginning sours'

According to his memoir, Enrile was a widow's son by a prominent married lawyer. He was born Juanito Furagganan on February 14, 1924.

The boy later took his father's name and became a respected attorney himself, as well as a close confidant of Marcos who would win the presidency in 1965.

Before becoming defence minister, Enrile held other key posts, including customs chief and justice minister.

Marcos's order implementing martial law in 1972 cited various acts of terror around the country, including an alleged communist guerrilla assassination attempt on Enrile.

Many years later, Enrile gave differing statements on that key event, saying at one point the claimed ambush was made up, and then writing in his memoir that it had actually happened.

Under martial law, Enrile was the second-most-powerful man in the country, deciding who could be jailed or freed.

Amnesty International estimates Marcos's security forces either killed, tortured, sexually abused, mutilated or arbitrarily detained tens of thousands of opponents.

More than 11,000 victims have been officially recognised and compensated.

Enrile never apologised for his role in the dictatorship and even defended martial law.

"It was operating well at least from 1972 all the way to 1975, but somehow along the way, just like everything that we do in this country, a good beginning sours," he told journalists in 2006.

'People Power'

By the 1980s, Marcos was ailing, and it was becoming clear that his wife Imelda and her allies were not planning to keep Enrile in the future leadership.

In response, Enrile organised a cabal of disgruntled young military officers into the Reform the Armed Forces Movement (RAM).

The 1983 murder of Aquino by soldiers loyal to Marcos and massive cheating in the 1986 polls caused widespread unrest, further weakening Marcos's position.

The RAM sought to exploit the situation with a plot to overthrow the Marcos government, but their plan was discovered before it could be launched.

Facing arrest, Enrile and his allies holed up at Manila's military headquarters and appealed to the public to protect them from an imminent government attack.

Millions of people poured onto the streets, triggering the "People Power" revolt that toppled Marcos, installed Aquino's widow Corazon as president, and restored democracy.

Aquino appointed Enrile as her defence minister, but he stayed in her cabinet for only a short time.

He was briefly arrested in 1990, 2001, and 2014, the first two times for alleged involvement in coup plots and the last over the embezzlement of public funds.

Enrile enjoyed a decades-long career as a lawmaker, including as Senate president from 2008 to 2013.

In 2014, he was arrested with two other senators for allegedly receiving bribes as part of a massive corruption scandal.

Citing Enrile's "fragile health", the Supreme Court granted him bail in 2015, allowing him to spend his twilight days at home.

A special graft court dismissed the plunder, or massive corruption, charges against Enrile last year, and last month acquitted him of the remaining graft cases against him.

That is not a career to be celebrated. Everything in this profile points to selfishness not selflessness. Enrile looked out for himself. He betrayed his friends and the people. He betrayed the nation.

That he is being celebrated by his peers is not shocking. But it should be especially when the government is talking about transparency and rooting out corruption especially as it pertains to flood projects. Enrile's public service was a flood of corruption and connivance that should not be celebrated. Let his family mourn him. But let the nation rejoice that Enrile has now passed into judgment. Juan Ponce Enrile and those who celebrate him are more fodder to shout from the rooftops: No more hell run by Filipinos!

The God Culture: 100 Lies About the Philippines: Lie #42: Mt. Kanlaon is a Greek and Hebrew Word

Welcome back to 100 lies The God Culture teaches about the Philippines. Today's lie concerns Timothy Jay Schwab's claim there are Greek place names in the Philippines. According to Tim Tarshish, the son of Javan who founded Greece, sailed with Ophir to the Philippines, stayed here, and named a few landmarks in the Greek language. As we shall see that is a totally bogus claim and another lie.

In his videos Tim says:

46:46 And here's another for posterity sake Mount Kanalaon in Negros Occidental is Greek for at least God's people. There we go again. We do not place Negros in Tarshish but perhaps it is. Therefore it is our hypothesis that Luzon and surrounding aisles are Ophir, Cebu, Bohol, and surrounding aisles are Sheba and Tarshish is Mindanao Samar and in between. And the area of Tarshish includes the areas of Tarshish's Maritime brother Kittum, Elisha and Dedan, Dodan, Dodanim whichever name you wish to use. Remember there are over 7,000 islands in the Philippine archipelago thus plenty of room for all of these names and many, many more.

Tim reiterates this claim in his book The Search for King Solomon's Treasure.

The Search for King Solomon's Treasure, pg. 93

Tim has three sources for this claim.

The Search for King Solomon's Treasure, pg. 192

The first is from Pealim.com.

https://www.pealim.com/dict/1913-liknot/

But this is a Hebrew word and Tim is pretty clear Kanlaon is Greek compound word. Why he is bringing Hebrew into he mix? Because he is reaching, is inconsistent, and has no idea what he is talking about.

Why is he citing from a modern Hebrew dictionary rather than a biblical dictionary like Strong's? It appears the word in Strong's is H7066.

https://www.blueletterbible.org/lexicon/h7069/kjv/wlc/0-1/

As you can see Strong's H7066 is two syllables, kaw-naw, not kan. The Hebrew does not fit when trying to find the etymology of Kanlaon. Tim also makes no attempt to find a Hebrew word for "laon." Why would a word have a Hebrew prefix and a Greek suffix? It wouldn't.

For the Greek Tim has two sources. The first is Strong's G2579.

https://www.blueletterbible.org/lexicon/g2579/kjv/tr/0-1/

His second source is a paper by Benjamin Baxter.

https://mcmasterdivinity.ca/wp-content/uploads/2021/06/MJTM_12.1_BaxterFallacies.pdf

Funny that the paper is titled "Hebrew and Greek Word Study Fallacies."  The fact is the word "laon" is Strong's G2992 which is actually "laos." It means people but is translated differently depending on the context.

https://www.blueletterbible.org/lexicon/g2992/kjv/tr/0-1/

Here you can see there are two versions of "laon" with differing accents on the third letter meaning they are pronounced differently.

According to Tim's video Mt. Kanlaon means "At least God's people." However in his book the search for King Solomon's Treasure Mt. Kanlaon means "Bought people of God." The first interpretation makes sense because Tim is using two Greek words. The second interpretation makes zero sense because Tim is using a Hebrew Prefix with a Greek suffix. He is literally making stuff up.

Of course the etymology of Mt. Kanlaon is well known and it has nothing to do with Greek or Hebrew.

The name "Kanlaon" means "[place] of Laon", a pre-colonial Visayan goddess of creation, agriculture, and justice. The name Laon itself means "the ancient one", from Visayan laon meaning "ancient" or "old."

In pre-colonial animist anito beliefs of the various Visayan peoples, Kanlaon was regarded as the domain of a powerful female spirit named Laon (meaning "the ancient one") who was also regarded as the supreme creator deity of most Visayan groups. She is present in the pre-colonial beliefs of the Aklanon, Capiznon, Cebuano, Hiligaynon, Karay-a, Suludnon, and Waray people, among others.

She was first recorded as "Lalahon" or "Lahon" by the conquistador Miguel de Loarca in Relación de las Yslas Filipinas (1582). De Loarca records that Lalahon was an agricultural deity invoked by the natives for good harvests. When she was displeased, she would send locusts to spoil the crops. De Loarca specifically mentions that she dwells in the Kanlaon volcano.

The Spanish recorded this fact first over 400 years ago in 1582.

The Philippine Islands 1483-1803, vol. 5, pg. 135

The god Lalahon. It is said that the divinity Lalahon dwells in a volcano in Negros island, whence she hurls fire. The volcano is about five leagues from the town of Arevalo. They invoke Lalahon for their harvest; when she does not choose to grant them good harvests she sends the locusts to destroy and consume the crops. This Lalahon is a woman.

The fact is Mt. Kanlaon is the name of a goddess who lives in the volcano. The teaching that Mt. Kanlaon is a Greek and a Hebrew compound word is one more lie being taught about the Philippines by Timothy Jay Schwab who is The God Culture.

The God Culture: Adventures in the Light 1: The Name of Yahuah: Review

Timothy Jay Schwab who is The God Culture is now a children's author. This is perilous for him as Jesus Christ curses those who cause little ones to go astray and the series of books he has written for children serves only to lead them astray. The first of the three books in this series titled "Adventures in the Light" is about the name of Yahuah. It is illustrated but no illustrator is credited which means the illustrations are likely A.I. generated. The hands give it away.

Right away from the cover the theological problems shine through.

Every Breath Speaks His Name.

That may sound harmless but it is not. On pages 12-13 we see the following image and text.

Grandpa pointed toward the sky.

“When we breathe, when we live, every breath whispers His Name. Yah… inhale. Huah… exhale.”

That is not Christianity. That is Yoga. That is pranayama. The grandfather assigns a syllable of the Divine Name ("Yah" and "Huah") to the natural, binary rhythm of life, the inhale and the exhale. This is a common structure in mantra meditation, where a sacred word or sound is mentally or verbally repeated in synchronization with the breath.

The text states, "When we breathe, when we live, every breath whispers His Name." This equates the breath not just with biological function, but with divine presence and sustenance, mirroring the yogic concept of prana (life force or soul) being carried by the breath. That is exactly what the illustration shows as the little boy is like a dragon breathing forth fire in which the name YHWH is written.

Focusing on the breath and repeating a sacred sound is a technique designed to bring the mind into a state of calm and present awareness, connecting the individual to the divine or universal consciousness. The character Eliora is being taught a similar technique for remembering God. Tim is probably unaware of the ramifications of what he has written. Even if unintentional it just reveals how theologically unattuned he really is.

The ultimate problem with this book is that it is modalist-unitarian and thus anti-Christian. That is to say it only mentions ONE God and says nothing about Jesus Christ. Who is this singular God? Who is Yahuah? Is it the Father? The Son? The Holy Ghost? Tim does not say but we already know Timothy is an anti-trinitarian heretic who teaches the Holy Spirit is likely a creature, so He's out.

The Holy Spirit as well was there but we just don't have a defined role for Him at that time. Uh, He's not called Elohim. He's not known to be a creator

When you see the word eternal that does not mean they don't have a beginning understand that as well our spirits are eternal, right? But most certainly have a beginning. We were created, right? Angels are eternal but they have a creation point we're actually gonna cover that very clearly on the first day. Uh, it's just not there uh, you know so trying to take, again, a word, uh, out of its own definition, eternal doesn't mean they've lived forever it means they will live forever, umm it does not mean they don't have a beginning. So, they see that word eternal, uh, used in terms of the Ruach and then they assume Oh that means the Holy Spirt is also from before creation, right? Well actually no. No, it doesn't mean that and it doesn't say that.

That leaves the Father and the Son. Tim does teach that the Creator is two, the Father and the Son but he teaches they have different names. According to Tim the Son is Yahusha and the Father is Yahuah or YHWH.

Restoring Creation: Part 12: Who Is Elohim? Gen. 1:1 Understood. First Day.

1:39 Well, who then are the Elohim of Genesis 1:1 before the angels were even created? Yes they are called Elohim as well because Elohim is a general term for  heavenly being. However, there are no other heavenly beings there is two here actually. There's another being on earth, uh, and there you go, that's it, at creation in the very beginning.

18:59 But who is Elohim? Well, the word is plural at least two in the Hebrew, the "im" on the end makes it plural. Plural means not one but two

37:37 So, in the beginning Elohim created the heavens and the earth. That Elohim is two. The Father and the Son. Again, the Holy Spirit's there but there's no Scripture that ever attributes the Holy Spirit as a creator. It's just not there. You can try to add it. You can try to say, you know, it's equated in some context somewhere. That's fine go ahead and do that but we don't. We just don't placate those kinds of thinkings. We, we go with what the Bible says. So, that's not His role it just isn't in scripture. If it was His role then show us the Scripture. Well you won't because it's not there.

However, Jesus identified Himself with YHWH.

Exodus 3:13 And Moses said unto God, Behold, when I come unto the children of Israel, and shall say unto them, The God of your fathers hath sent me unto you; and they shall say to me, What is his name? what shall I say unto them?

14 And God said unto Moses, I AM THAT I AM: and he said, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, I AM hath sent me unto you.

John 8:58 Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I am.

The I AM THAT I AM is the same tetragrammaton in Exodus 6:3 translated Jehovah.

And I appeared unto Abraham, unto Isaac, and unto Jacob, by the name of God Almighty, but by my name JEHOVAH was I not known to them.

Jesus is Jehovah, YHWH, which Tim claims is properly translated as Yahuha. Jesus is the ultimate revelation of YHWH and the fulfillment of the entire Old Testament. To ignore that is to not understand the meaning of YHWH. It's not about pronunciation, it's about the revelation of the Person of Jesus Christ who is the only mediator between God and men.

1 Timothy 2:5 For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus;

In Isaiah 6 we read:

1 In the year that king Uzziah died I saw also the Lord sitting upon a throne, high and lifted up, and his train filled the temple.

2 Above it stood the seraphims: each one had six wings; with twain he covered his face, and with twain he covered his feet, and with twain he did fly.

3 And one cried unto another, and said, Holy, holy, holy, is the LORD of hosts: the whole earth is full of his glory.

4 And the posts of the door moved at the voice of him that cried, and the house was filled with smoke.

5 Then said I, Woe is me! for I am undone; because I am a man of unclean lips, and I dwell in the midst of a people of unclean lips: for mine eyes have seen the King, the LORD of hosts.

LORD is YHWH.  Isaiah saw YHWH.  John says this was Jesus.

John 12:37 But though he had done so many miracles before them, yet they believed not on him:

38 That the saying of Esaias the prophet might be fulfilled, which he spake, Lord, who hath believed our report? and to whom hath the arm of the Lord been revealed?

39 Therefore they could not believe, because that Esaias said again,

40 He hath blinded their eyes, and hardened their heart; that they should not see with their eyes, nor understand with their heart, and be converted, and I should heal them.

41 These things said Esaias, when he saw his glory, and spake of him.

The Biblical testimony is crystal clear. Jesus is YHWH. Tim completely ignores that testimony.

When discussing God it must always be kept in mind that He is not one in a strictly unitarian sense. He is three-in-one. The Father, Son, and Holy Ghost are each persons of the Godhead, three hypostases sharing one divine essence, and who are each fully divine. This fact is preserved in the word Elohim which is the plural name of God in Hebrew used in the Genesis.

1:26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness

That makes this first image all the more troublesome and deeply problematic.

Eliora loved listening to her grandfather’s prayers. He always began, “O Creator of all things…”

One evening, she asked softly, “Grandpa, does the Creator have a name?”

Grandpa smiled and opened an old chest. Inside lay a scroll with four glowing letters. “These letters,” he whispered, “are the Name of our Creator—Yahuah.”

Why does her grandfather begin prayer with "O Creator of all things?" That is theologically vacant and the opposite of what the Bible teaches. Why not "Our Father who art in Heaven" as Christ taught us to pray? Who exactly is he praying to except some generic creator deity that the little girl has to ask his name? Why does he pull a scroll out of a chest instead of turning to the scriptures to explain the name? Why are there no Bible references in the main text of this book? It's nonsense that has nothing to do with biblical doctrine.

Likewise Grandpa's answer to Eliora's question is also unbiblical. Colossians 1 tells us that all things were created by Jesus Christ.

3 We give thanks to God and the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, praying always for you,

4 Since we heard of your faith in Christ Jesus, and of the love which ye have to all the saints,

5 For the hope which is laid up for you in heaven, whereof ye heard before in the word of the truth of the gospel;

6 Which is come unto you, as it is in all the world; and bringeth forth fruit, as it doth also in you, since the day ye heard of it, and knew the grace of God in truth:

7 As ye also learned of Epaphras our dear fellowservant, who is for you a faithful minister of Christ;

8 Who also declared unto us your love in the Spirit.

9 For this cause we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you, and to desire that ye might be filled with the knowledge of his will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding;

10 That ye might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God;

11 Strengthened with all might, according to his glorious power, unto all patience and longsuffering with joyfulness;

12 Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light:

13 Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son:

14 In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins:

15 Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature:

16 For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him:

17 And he is before all things, and by him all things consist.

Philippians 2 tells us that the name of Jesus is above EVERY NAME. That includes YHWH.

9 Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name:

10 That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth;

11 And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

The full revelation of YHWH is to be found only in Jesus Christ. It is not the singular name of the Father. It is also not a magick word capable of transforming nature yet that is how Tim presents it in this Children's book.

When Eliora said the Name, it felt like a deep breath filled her heart. The trees seemed to breathe with her.

Even the ocean waves answered, softly, “Yahuah.”

pg. 11

That night, Eliora dreamed she was walking through a garden. Each flower bloomed when she said, “Yahuah.”

She woke up smiling, still whispering the Name.

 pg.15

When dawn came, Eliora stood by the sea. She whispered, “Thank You, Yahuah, for this new day.”

The sky brightened—as if it heard her.

pg. 24

Here is probably the worst offender, YHWH becomes a sing-song chant.

pg. 16-17

Eliora began to hum a tune—Ya-hu-ah…Ya-hu-ah…

The melody felt like joy. Grandpa joined in, and soon the whole house was singing.

How trivializing. What a way to take something sacred and make it profane. The name of God is now a child's game.

Tim even manages to find a place for anti-Christian and unbiblical legalistic moralizing in his advice about how we are to honor the name YHWH.

pg. 18-19

“The Name is not a secret,” Grandpa said.

“It’s a gift. We honor it when our hearts are kind, our words gentle, and our hands good.”

This advice plants a legalistic seed that the way to please God is through self-effort, rather than through the righteousness and worship that comes through Christ alone. Being a good person is not how we honor God. It is not how we honor Jesus Christ. We honor Him through worship. Through Spirit and inTruth.

John 4:21 Jesus saith unto her, Woman, believe me, the hour cometh, when ye shall neither in this mountain, nor yet at Jerusalem, worship the Father.

22 Ye worship ye know not what: we know what we worship: for salvation is of the Jews.

23 But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him.

24 God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.

There is no truth in this little book as it does not lead to Christ who is the ultimate revelation of YHWH. Why would Tim not want to lead children to Jesus Christ? Why would he seek to poison their minds with this anti-Christian presentation of the name YHWH? The seemingly benign content in this book serves an insidious, anti-Trinitarian, and legalistic agenda.

To false teachers like Tim Jesus has nothing positive to say.

Matthew 18:5 And whoso shall receive one such little child in my name receiveth me.

6 But whoso shall offend one of these little ones which believe in me, it were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and that he were drowned in the depth of the sea.

Unless he repents such is the fate of Timothy Jay Schwab who is The God Culture.
