The Flying on a Plane Because He's Been Deported Dutchman

A Dutchman in Cebu has been arrested and will be summarily booted from the Philippines for being an undesirable alien. What makes him so undesirable?

According to BI Commissioner Jaime Morente, Vondeling was arrested on the strength of a warrant of deportation issued against him by the BI last September 2015.
Morente said the issuance of the arrest order was prompted by the resolution penned by San Fransisco, Cebu municipal council and Barangay Poblacion council dated July 2014, declaring the Dutchman a persona non grata and recommending his deportation.
Both resolutions, which stated that the Dutchman is “inimical to public order, safety and morals,” stemmed from his failure to secure building permits for the two resorts that he was constructing in San Francisco town.
Morente said that: “Foreigners like him who refuse to comply with our laws and who openly manifest disrespect to persons of authority do not deserve the privilege to stay in our country."
I fail to see the problem. He is merely doing business the Filipino way! Who needs a permit??

If only they kicked out illegally operating contractors and business owners and corrupt officials.  Then there would be no businesses or politicians in the Philippines!

  1. Very transparent here...

The 'Dutch Man' made the mistake of trying to build a business here...

Filipino authorities waited until the 'Dutch Man' had invested a significant amount of money, then failing to come up with an actual legal charge against him, pulls out the old Filipino standby of 'Persona Non Grata', getting BI to kick him out of the country, then taking over his investments...

Take note all foreigners, keep that return trip ticket in hand & your $$$ in a bank account NOT in the Philippines, because once you make the mistake of thinking that Filipinos have somewhat the same level of honesty, integrity, rule of law, etc. that civilized countries have, & you start trying to build something permanent in the Philippines, is when the Filipino Barangay, PNP, Judiciary, LGU, BI, etc. will notice you on their radar screen & start targeting you IOT steal your investment, if not take your life!

    BTDT...

  2. Anyone hear about the "Philippines Disneyland"? Seems a Japanese business man decided to build it in Batangas called "Fantasyland" and the Filipinos had no problem. Story goes that the Japanese got all the permits and started building and everything going great,,,,,,,,until,,,,,,, he starts putting the rides in and all of a sudden the Filipinos refuse to renew his building permits.

It is said that Filipinos kept raising the cost of the permits, bribes to issue permits and other made up bull shit to milk money out of the Japanese until he went broke and gave up. So now there is this castle on a mountain serving no use, not providing jobs to anyone except for one person. The security guard will let people in to look around for P1,000 otherwise he just keeps squatters out. So once again we have an example of the Filipino mindset of lose/lose.

  3. How many Filipino """"""""adults"""""""" force their kids to work in that country and how many of these so called parents get arrested for that? No one because there's no money to make so they prefer to piss on foreigners who try to work honestly. Read the the article. 23 lines of nothing at all! Ho but wait. Look what we have here. It says: The foreign national was also charged with grave oral defamation after having a heated altercation with local officials over the building permits. grave oral defamation????? Can we have some details? What did he say exactly? Do they expect him to be happy after trying to scam him? The crime of oral defamation lollll. If oral defamation is a crime in this pirate island then why this goofy ding dong Duterte is not in prison? Well guess what, in an absurd and grotesque country like the Philippines they take this tough guy and put him as president of the whole country. A killer lawyer president! That's how it works here ladies and gents! People massively vote for that.
