The neighbourhood basketball court was fitted with new nets.
They don't even look good because the newness of the nets highlights the dilapidated and rotten backboard. Why was this even done? Better contact the guy whose name is on the backboard.

That does not look like normal wear and tear or weather damage. How would a storm do that anyway? It would have to be one mighty onslaught of wind and rain to rip those nets to shreds. These nets have been destroyed by players dunking hard and hanging on the net. More likely hanging.
