A new edition of the same old game. The way politics works in the Philippines is you either toe the line of the majority party or you face being defamed by everyone. It does not matter if you are in the right. If you call out a very respected politician for being corrupt and have all the proofs he will charge you with libel just to shut you up and waste your time in the courts.
The administration is really pushing this detabilisation meme. What do they even mean by destabilisation? They never say. Panelo thinks that "the prime duty of the government is to serve and protect the people" means Duterte has authorisation to declare a revolutionary government because it will serve and protect the people. With such an open ended interpretation of the function of government everything is possible as long as it is declared to "serve and protect the people."

Duterte was never serious about pulling out the PNP. Assigning the PDEA in charge of the drug war was a publicity stunt. He hopes the undermanned PDEA will fail, crimes will rise, and the people will beg for the PNP to be put back in charge of the drug war. It's a classic dialectal approach of problem, reaction, solution.
Now that Gadon has let the cat out of the bag all these impeachment proceedings should be carefully scrutinised and likely junked. Once these opposition bureaucrats and politicians are forced out of the government Duterte will be free to do whatsoever he pleases.
The Binay family is both a political and criminal dynasty which is a pretty redundant phrase when it comes to Filipino politicians.
Not only is it a disgrace that the marital dispute between the Bautistas has become national news but on what grounds can she file a plunder case against him? Can anyone file a plunder case against ex-officals? Isn't this a case for the DOJ and the ombudsman? Same goes for the groups seeking to file impeachment charges against Morales. On what grounds can they do this? What legal standing do they have? Such is the litigious nature of Philippine society.

Undoubtedly PCOO Secretary Andanar has been having many late night conversations with PCOO Assistant Secretary Mocha Uson. Where else would he pull such nonsense from? This is also reminiscent of Lorraine Badoy's comments back in March about the EU being good at making child pornography. A recent appointee to the PCOO, Miss Badoy is going to fit in just fine.
President Duterte's daughter, Mayor Duterte, thinks that a seat in the House of Representatives is not a national position. What a genius! Next she will be telling us that she is not running for President of the Philippines, she is running for Mayor of the Philippines.
