The Gardener

I saw this guy and his carabao heading into a gated community.  Where was he going?  What was he doing?  Does he know carabao do not belong in a housing community?

Ah I see now!  This guy is the gardener.  He is ploughing the garden.  I'm sure its a garden because this is a gated community and not a farm. No way anyone would be using this land like it's farm land.  It's just a private garden.

That's a pretty big garden!

Looks like he has a green thumb since all these plants sprouted rather quickly.

The All-Day Smoky Pile

As ever some neighbours decided to burn their pile of leaves and twigs and brush.  Smokey and nasty.  Gross and polluted.  Blah blah blah.

But this pile was a little different.

Usually the fire dies down and out within an hour.  This pile went all day long.  The above photo was taken at 9 am.  The following photo was taken at 7 pm!

Still going strong and still stinking up the air after 10 hours.

If it had not been for the torrential downpour that night then surely the pile would still have been smoking long into the night and early hours of the morning. Only a very rude or very careless person would allow such a thing to happen.

The political circus the Philippines does not stop.  Its a one way ticket to the complete opposite of paradise. I might have to suspend this series as it is pretty overwhelming. Or I will just have to rethink how I am going to go about it.  The intention was to have one post a week documenting government shenanigans. Why is the Senate eager to unmask whoever runs Silentnomore.ph but can't take the time to investigate the prior knowledge of the Marawi siege?  It's a cover up!
