Are Public Urinals the Solution to Public Urination?

Are public urinals the solution to public urination?

Would you use this pink stall? How about this one:

This guy has no problem with it.

The answer of course is no. Public urinals such as the above are not the solution to stopping public urination. These public urinals are only good for those who live and work in the area, especially taxi, tricycle, and pedicab drivers. In fact the pink urinal is right next to where pedicabs line up and the second urinal is right next to where taxis line up. Good for those guys and whoever happens to reside in the area but that's it. Maybe it would work if there were more coverage like a public urinal in every barangay. But then it would require knowing of their existence, their location, and having the wherewithal to use them.

And what if something other than the bladder must be emptied? The functionality is limited.

Alas such a problem and solution is very male centred. Does anyone stop to think that women might have to go? Where are their public toilets?

Perhaps if all the politicians put their heads together they might be able to concoct a solution to this seemingly insurmountable problem.
