The Dangling Light

Philippians 2:10: That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; 

Philippians 2:11: And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

It's a powerful image.

The fake electric light of man is dangling in the wind, bowing before "the true Light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the world," Jesus Christ.  It's an image of our future of which the verses from Philippians solemnly warn us.

Or it's just another instance of lax standards regarding the electrical system. Who would believe no one has noticed this dangling street light head for the past 6 months? Leaning rotten wood poles, dangling lights, tangled wires held together by tape...how does the whole system not go up in flames?
